1Thirty Holding and Nazarbayev University Announce Strategic Partnership

1Thirty Holding, through its subsidiary Asiacolor Global, and the Institute of New Materials and Energy Technologies at Nazarbayev University have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Astana to support the advancement of the coatings industry in Kazakhstan. The agreement was signed by Mr. Alexander Glukhov, CEO of Asiacolor Global, and Prof. Zhumabay Bakenov, General Director of the Institute, establishing a formal framework for long-term scientific and industrial cooperation.

This strategic collaboration supports the implementation of 1Thirty Holding’s key project in Astana, which includes the launch of powder coatings production and the creation of an R&D center unique to the region. The partnership is aimed at fostering domestic scientific development, facilitating the integration of international quality standards into Kazakhstan’s materials and coatings market, and advancing the commercialization of applied research.

The collaboration will also include joint research projects, seminars, workshops and training programs, with a focus on involving students and young scientists in applied work in materials science and coatings, strengthening the link between academic research and industrial application.
